Dan Faulkner

Daniel Faulkner is the Registrar and CEO of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. He has 30 years of experience in healthcare and professional regulation, leading numerous provincial and national initiatives with experience across all aspects of regulatory program oversight and development in practice based assessments and improvement, national licensure and professional mobility, and practical risk-based regulatory solutions. He spent 25 years with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario where he held a variety of senior leadership roles including Deputy Registrar. He also founded Lakeview Regulatory Consultants advising regulators and related organizations on a variety of governance and strategy issues. From 2018 – 2020 he Co-Chaired the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care’s Working Group to develop the first Ontario performance measurement framework for health professional Colleges.
