Successful ARNAP, CFAS, and KCAT Exam Administrations

April 2021 marked the administration of Touchstone Institute’s first hybrid exam format, using both virtual and in-person delivery models. Using Safe OSCE protocols developed by staff including the use of medical grade masks, increased hand hygiene, and physical distancing, Touchstone Institute was able to safely administer the Alberta Registered Nurse Assessment Program (ARNAP) to 22 examinees at the University of Alberta.

The Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Laboratory Exam is the assessment program for professionals working in Assisted Reproductive Technology Laboratories in Canada. This exam was delivered virtually to 39 Examinees on April 24. Research and analysis of exam data confirm that this method is not only valid and defensible, but also well received by examinees.

Touchstone Institute administers the Knowledge and Competency Assessment Tool (KCAT) to assess the foundational knowledge and competency of applicants who are applying to become dieticians in Ontario. KCAT was also administered virtually on May 12 to 41 examinees.
