Melisse Willems

Melisse Willems is the Registrar and Executive Director of the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Melisse has had a long-time interest in, and passion for, the health regulatory sector. Prior to the CDO, Melisse was Acting Deputy Registrar and General Legal Counsel for the College of Opticians of Ontario and Director of Professional Conduct and General Legal Counsel at the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario. She has been a member of the Law Society of Ontario since 2003 and practiced law in a large Canadian-based international law firm, working with clients in the health regulatory sector before going in-house. Melisse is currently working on an LLM in health law through Osgoode Hall Law School.
