MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR

Touchstone plays a vital role in supporting health human resources in Canada. Our team works with governments, system partners and health providers to deliver end-to-end tailored solutions that support recruitment, onboarding, learning, training and competency development. We lead practical, workplace assessment programs like Practice Ready Ontario to create new pathways for internationally trained physicians, while supporting all health professionals to address clinical and practice learning needs throughout their careers.

Our Strategic Plan lays out how we will build on these and other critical aspects of our core work to operationalize our commitment to lead transformation of Canada’s healthcare workforce. This includes continuing to leverage advanced capabilities such as simulation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and seeking new technological approaches, like virtual reality to expand access to education and enhance learning and clinical practice in a changing world.

Advancing transformation requires effective partnership. Everything we do at Touchstone is grounded in system collaboration. Together we will optimize health human resource practice across the continuum, accelerate entry to practice and ultimately deliver great patient care.
